MFW: Finding inspiration in a Layout

Hey there! I am back with my second post....so please scroll down for the first. There's a new challenge at MFW that I just got to participate. The challenge? Finding inspiration in a Layout! I always do that when I am running low on my creative juice :)

So, here is the inspiring layout...


And here is my card inspired by the layout....


The punched circles and the gradient paper that I used are very much inspired by the layout. I stayed clean and simple so not much embellishment on this card.

    Hi Cindy, I love this card, just wondering how you made the piercing around the circles and outside of the card, it look great, did you use a piercer....

    Clean and simple is sometimes the best! Love how you punch out the circles from the card and added a patterned base :)

    Love how you designed this! That gradient paper is perfect for this! Very clever to do the circles as cut outs to showcase the colored paper underneath! Great job!
