Last week, I got a visit from a special friend and spent four wonderful days by showing her around Penang or rather food hunting :) I guess most of you already know who this special friend is but if you don't, she's Jessy, the talented babe from KL! It was really fun having her around and she was such a great companion! Every night before we went to bed, we'll have our little chat just about everything and it made me feel like I was a teenager again (psst...I'm not that old anyway, lol). Sheila even invited us for dinner on Friday and we had a good laugh the entire time! I'll be going to KL next month and I can't wait to see her again!
After I dropped off Jessy at the airport yesterday, I went home feeling greatly inspired that I whip up this card using colors that I rarely use. I was definitely out of my comfort zone while creating this card. The big beautiful butterfly die cut is a RAK by Jessy and you know how much I love my butterfly :) I combined a few different techniques on this card and I love how this turned out to be. I hope you like it too!
Thanks for stopping by my lil corner! Have a great day!

Gift Box
It's Monday....and I'm having one of those "I'm sleepy" day again. I went to bed at 9:30pm so basically I had over 8 hours of sleep yet I'm struggling to stay awake right now. I seriously need COFFEE! Care to join me?? Lol :)
Last week, I told you that I have a fun project to show you and this is the fun project I was talking about.....a handmade gift box! I made it for the Smidapaper blog and if you interested to make one yourself, please check out the simple tutorial here. I hope you like it :)
The inside of the box revealed the fun embellishments I put together. You realized it's all pink, right? Even the cupcake liners are in pink. I can't help it...lol :)
It's a perfect gift for a crafty friend, don't you think?
Don't forget to check out Smidapaper blog for the tutorial :) Have fun!

Embellish Quirky-Cutesy-Clean Style Color Challenge
It's FRIDAY! You know how much I love Friday, right?? :)
I thought I would pop in quickly to show you a card I made for the current challenge at Embellish Magazine. Here's my take on the challenge using my new stamps by WPlus9. Ohh...I just love it! This is my first baby stamp ever! Yeah....no kidding! You know how I'm obsessed with butterfllies right?? lol :) Can you tell that I'm addicted to the faux stitch rub-on tape already???
Ok...I'm such a bad bloggy friend, I admit that. I've been so busy here...lots of deadlines to meet that blog hopping seems impossible. Please forgive me, pretty please........:) But I promise I'll visit you soon. Real soon :) Forgive me already?? lol...

Short and sweet
Hello there!
I'm gonna get busy again this week so if you don't see me posting or commenting on your blog, just remember that I'm still alive :) I have a really fun project that I'm working on right now and I hope that I can share with you soon. I have to make this post short again so I'm leaving you with a card that was rejected by PaperCrafts.

Cadrmaking Class and weekly post at Smidapaper
Yeah! It's Friday! My favourite day of the week :)
Today I don't have a card to share but I do have a tutorial that I want you to check out. Starting this month, I will do a weekly post at Smidapaper and in fact, I've already started since last week. What I'm hoping to share on the weekly post are some of the crafty tips that I've learned. Last week I did a product feature on American Crafts foam tape and this week, I did a simple tutorial on how I organized my ribbons using cardstock scraps. It's inexpensive and super easy. Check out the tutorial here and perhaps you could share with me your ribbon storage too :)
Also, I have a cardmaking class on next Saturday. The theme for the class is "Occasions" with stamping. It's going to be fun and if you are around here, do come and join us! More info on the class can be found here.

Let your dreams take Flight
Thank you for being so sweet on my last post! You all have been such a great friend to me! Now I know I will never be lonely when I have great company like you all! I just love the blogging community :)
I made a card last night using colors that I rarely use. In fact, it is so unpopular that cardmakers tend to shy away from using this color. I too find it a little intimidating but I braced myself and created this card anyway. By now you know what color I'm talking here. I can't tell if I like what I created but it's definitely too purple-ish for me :) If there are two things that I love from this card are the butterfly and the stamped doily. The butterfly is actually made of tissue using the buterfly die by PTI. I die-cut four butterflies and stamped each with polka dots before layer them together.
Be sure to come back again tomorrow as I have something to share :) Have a great day!

Best Friends
Hello my lovely friends!
I had a good weekend but I didn't get to spend as much time as I would love to on crafting but starting this week or for the next couple of months, I will have plenty of time to spend on making cards (imagine the big grin on my face). Hubby just left to join his crew yesterday and won't be back till December. Of course I will miss him a lot during his absence but they said crafting is the best remedy to cure loneliness. I couldn't agree more :)
I'm here to share a mini card I made for a recent publication call which obviously is a reject. I submitted three mini cards but only one get picked so I'm still happy :) The sentiment sticker is from K&Co as well as the flower sticker which is made from vellum (isn't it cute?). The graph border die cut is part of the So Sophie collection by My Mind's Eye and they are available at Smidapaper.
Thanks for stopping! Have a great day!

TD Challenge 03
Happy Saturday lovelies!!
I am back wih another challenge by Tiffany Doodles and this time the DT were asked to create a card using flowers digi image and I choosed to work with the plumeria. I have no idea how to color the image and obviously it was my first time using Copic markers (they belongs to Sheila) but I went with it anyway :)

To a FRIEND
One of the reason I love Papertrey Ink so much are the endless possibilities you could do with their stamp. The other day when I sat down on my desk, I took out all the background stamps I have and immediately an idea came to mind. I whipped up this card within an hour. Suffice to say....this is one of my favourite card :)
Thanks for looking!
