Gifts Exchange
On last Friday, we had some gifts exchange among ourselves at my work place. We had so much fun and almost everyone (including me) was so engrossed in opening our gifts! We are just like a bunch of school kids......lol.
For the gifts exchange, I bought a gift bag from a local gift store and give it a whole new look by decorating it with a snowman, holly leaves and some mini alpha stickers from Making Memories. All except the alpha stickers were hand cut.

Laura's Sketch
Here's my card based on Laura's sketch. My 2nd brother is getting married in Singapore on this Sunday. We will stay in Singapore for 4 days. And that means I'll have no access to my computer and no card making during my trip :( I'll try to get my mind off cards for a while and enjoy myself on a shopping spree in Singapore. Hope I don't burst my wallet....hahaha.

Birthday present for my best pal
My best pal, YP celebrated her birthday on last Sunday. At first, I have no idea what to give her for her birthday. Clothes? Nah...her wardrobe are full of clothes. Cosmetics? She has loads of them...and she doesn't use them often. Accessories? She can open a shop with her current collection. Think, Think, Think (got this famous line from the 'Super Sleuths'..lol) Alas, this genius idea popped into my head! A mini book. You would probably laughing and thinking what's so genius about a mini book. But at least it had some sentimental value :)
Kazan's Sketch 14
'Humpty dumpty sat on the wall.......humpty dumpty had a great fall'. And I was that humpty dumpty yesterday! It was raining heavily and the road was slippery. I lost grip and fell right on my bum bum. Though it acts like a cushion but still the impact hurts my back and I also cut and scratched my hand during the fall. And what embarrassed me most was I fell right in front of a big crowd. Oh dear! I quickly got up on my feet and just walked away without even turning to look. Only when I reached home that I realized how much it hurts :(
Ok...let's move on to my card. I created this card based on Kazan's sketch. It's a birthday card for a good friend of mine who is currently in the US. Hope she likes it. I used quite a few stamps for this card....the swirls, the flowers, the leaves, the stems and of course the butterfly.
Thanks for looking and hope you are having a great day. I hope my bum bum will recover soon...lol :)

Hot Chocolate anyone??
My mojo is defintely working this week as I've created a few cards already! Nothing to be proud of but I'm happy about it. Really happy about it. Yippee!
I stop over at Caardvarks yesterday and decided to play along with their challenge this week. It's all about chocolate! Who doesn't like chocolate?? It's my fave....so, I thought I would give it a try. The 1st thing that pop to my mind isn't the confectionery type of chocolate. In fact, it's a cup of steaming hot chocolate. Since I'm gonna create X'mas cards, I thought a cup of hot chocolate is perfect to warm up during the cold winter (it's funny when I realized that Malaysia doesn't have winter, it's hot all year round and I don't need a hot chocolate to keep myself warm...lol)
My hot 'chocolate' card. A cuppa anyone??

Laura's Sketch 12
Yeay.....another new sketch by Laura this week! Can you tell that I'm excited about it?? I grew from like to fond of the sketches that Laura and Kazan created. They are all SUPERB! Beyond words! And not to mention that they have a great and talented design team as well! They have just announced the 6 new Winter DT on Monday. If you want to know who make it to the DT, check it out here. If you have not heard of 2S4Y before, it isn't too late to check out their blog now. Satisfaction guaranteed!
At first I couldn't decide if I want to have a Christmas tree or Santa on the card. My mojo left me for good 10 mins before it came back and gave me this 'mitten' idea. I added some silver sequins and stripes PP and punched snow flakes to the mitten. I love the look!
Scalloped edge and punched holes can never go wrong :)
And 'Happy Election Day' to my American friends!

Flower Cup Cake Card
October is a busy month for me as three of my friends birthdays are on the same month. One, is my good friend Wendy, who's in Singapore. One, is my friend from work. And another one is my good friend Ann, who is also my co-worker and also my BF's sister (or should I say my future SIL...lol). And that means, I have 3 birthday cards to make....no wait, make it 4 because my best friend YP asked me to make a birthday card for her friend.
I would say that I love this week's sketch by Kazan. The moment I saw her sketch, I knew right away what I want to do with it.
Tadaa....here's the birthday card I made for Ann a.k.a my future SIL based on Kazan's sketch. Since I always share my cards with her......her expectation towards her birthday card are very high. So much pressure. Hope she like this.

Good Friend Card
Yay....this week I managed to complete the bonus sketch by one of the Design Team members, Ashild Ruud. What a great and fun sketch to work on!
Here's the result based on the sketch. I did not embellish this card a lot....because I want to keep it simple. If you notice, I did not have a single bling on this card which I always did with my other cards.

Kazan's Sketch 8
Another week has gone by and that means there's a new at 2Sketches4You. This week's sketch is by Kazan and there's also another bonus sketch by Christine from the design team. But I only managed to do Kazan's sketch though I love Christine's sketch too. I will definitely do it some other day.
I always have this penchant for paper piecing but never really did one before. And so, I thought I would make one for this week's sketch challenge. I think this is by far the most kiddie card I've ever made. I would say it's a lot of work because all the piecings were hand drawn and hand cut.....except for those insects as they were clip arts from my computer. But I guess it's worth the effort because I enjoyed doing it so much.

Laura's Sketch 7
While I was blog hopping, I came across this great site called 2Sketches4U. They have this challenge where they will post a new sketch on every Monday. All you have to do is to link your creation to them. At the end of the week, they will choose the top 5 cards and the best card will win some sponsored goodies. I was so inspired by their sketches that I decided to join in the fun too.
This is my 1st partipation in sketch challenge.
