Hey there! How's your day? Mine was good....had poached egg and toast for breakfast and coffee too. Yummy :) I made a card for the Embellish Color Challenge and broke out some of my newly bought stuff....Prima blings and Dear Lizzy fabric. I heart these products! I saw lots of fabric flowers on the blog land and decided to make one myself. Well, it won't be a success had I not learn it from my friend, Courtney. You may watch her video tutorial here. It took her less than 10mins to make one and it took me almost half an hour to make mine :)
Have a nice day!

Latte Anyone?
Happy Tuesday! Today, I'm going to share with you my first project as the DT for 'The Cutting Cafe'. This is also my first time using digi stamps and it was fun! You should really check out the store because it offers a huge variety of digi stamps and templates that suit everyone's needs.
I'm a coffee lover so it's no surprise that I choose to use the 'Got Coffee' set for my first project. There are so many cute images and sentiments in this set this is just one of the card I created from the set. Initially, this card was created for the Embellish color challenge but I used the wrong blue that doesn't fit the challenge at all. So, I decided to drop it and just share with you all. Don't you love the coffee mug image?? I just love it! I printed the image on pink cardstock, fussy cut and stamp it with polka dots by Papertrey Ink. For added interest, I added glossy accent to the heart and the coffee. The sentiment is by Hero Arts. I love how the digi stamps work perfectly well with other clear stamps.
If you are interested in any of these stamps, be sure to check out the store. Regina (the owner) is one of the most accommodating lady I've ever met!

Simple and Fun!
**Note: If you are interested in my blog candy, please scroll down!
Happy Friday y'all! Today, I have not only one but two cards to share with you. I made them last night while watching TV in the living room. I stayed up till midnight and right now I can't even open my eyes. Too sleepy!
I'm back with my simple and fun style....my comfort zone :) This card below uses paper and journaling tag by October Afternoon. Then I distressed the edge using white paint by Making Memories....I heart this product. You are going to see me using it frequently. Oh btw, I need your help. Can someone help me identify this ribbon because I bought it in yards and forget which manufacturer it's from. Please please........
Next up is a clean and simple card featuring stamps by Crate Paper. The green dash line is a rub-on by October Afternoon. I think I made this card under 10mins except for the ribbon coz it took at least 15mins to get it right.
Thanks for your visit!

Hello + Blog Candy!
Hello there! Wow...first of all, thanks so much for all the lovely comments you left on my DT post!! You ladies just know how to brighten my day! Secondly, I'm sorry if I have not leave any comment on your blog lately but trust me, I do visit your blog everyday :) I will back to commenting when things are not so crazy here. A very quick post to show you the card I made yesterday.
After all the shabby chic cards that I created, I decided that this time I would go for a clean and simple style instead. Can any of you recognized which stamp I'm using for the flower?? If you said 'Look Up' by Practicing Creativity Designs then you are absolutely right! I stamped the small polka dots hot air balloon on kraft cardstock to create a flower. For the center, I add some Papertrey Ink buttons. The stitched stem is a rub-on by Cherry Arte. I seriously love the rub-on...it definitely make my life much more easier especially when I don't have a sewing machine :)) The stapled ribbon is an idea I get from Clouds in the CARDS March issue. This girl seriously rock!
(This card is part of the blog candy)
On to the fun stuff.........
Because of your continous support, my blog has reached the 10k hits with 56 followers! I seriously never thought that anyone out there would want to follow my blog or be a regular here. But you ladies make it happen! So in return, I put together some stuff that you can win simply by commenting on this post by March 31st, 2010 (Malaysian time). This is open to everyone around the globe :) Good luck!!

Embellish Fabric Color Challenge
Happy Friday ladies!
I made a card yesterday for the Embellish Fabric Color Challenge. I was greatly inspired by the challenge that I decided to join in the fun. There's also another person who greatly inspired me and she's none other than the talented Sarah Martina. She created the most beautiful shabby chic card. And here's my take on the challenge.
Have a fun day!

I did a lot of stamping on this card which I rarely do. First, I stamped the background using the bitty polka dots by Papertrey Ink. Then I die cut a butterfly on a piece of muslin fabric and stamped damask pattern on it. I even get to use my long hoarded Prima flowers for the body and the beautiful jewel brad is by my uber sweet friend, Jessy :) This is my first time using fabric and I love it!

What's your style......?
Is it important to have a distinct style that make you different from others? Or will people recognized my card even though they don't see my name? These are the questions I often asked myself before I discovered my own style. After two years attempt of different styles, I finally found the style that best suited me. Clean, simple, graphic and fun! Yep...that's my style! If you are a regular to my blog, you'll see lots of simple cards here.....and occassionally some shabby chic cards because I love this style too although it's not really my niche. I'm just happy to find the style in which I'm 100% comfortable with and able to to go beyond my creativity. It doesn't even matter if there's no definition to your style.....what matter most is the joy you get while creating. So long that you are happy with the design then I guess nothing really matters.
With that said I'm leaving you with a card I made yesterday. Right now I'm into girlie cards, so do expect to see more cards like this :) I'll list down the supplies I used on this card at the bottom.
SUPPLIES: Card Stock (Bazzill Basic); Journaling Page (Making Memories); Ticket Stamp (Hero Arts); Butterfly Dies (Spellbinders); Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug); Distress Ink (Ranger); Paint (Making Memories); Lace (Craft Supplies); Floss (DMC)

The Sky's The Limit
Hello there! I've got another card featuring Look Up! stamp to share with you. I truly enjoyed working with this new stamp set. It's fun! I stamped the hot air balloon on Cosmo Cricket paper, cut out and adhered them on the card front. To create the grass/hill, I punched strips of paper using my newly bought EK Success border punch and adhered them on the bottom. Love this! If you are interested in these stamps, please be sure to visit Courtney at Practicing Creativity. You'll be amazed by her work!
I just realized that my blog has reached the 10k hits and I would like to say THANK YOU for your support! Without you, I would not have come this far. If possible, I would love to hug each and everyone of you who commented here. But I can't. So, a blog candy would be much more appropriate to express my gratitude. Do come back for my blog candy post :) Have a great day!

Once upon a time........
Hello there! I hope you had a great weekend! I stayed at my mom's house over the weekend and can you imagine the amount of supplies I brought back just to make a few cards? There are two big bags chocked full with supplies from paper, punches, inks.....etc. They are heavy and thanks to my mom for helping me to carry them from my car to the house.
Today, I'm sharing a happy card hoping to cheer or bring a smile to you. This card is a combination of my favourite manufacturers....rub-ons from October Afternoon, buttons from Papertrey Ink and pattern paper from Making Memories. Can you see the stitching on the 'grass'? It's not a real stitching though.....it's a rub-on from Cherry Arte (part of my Scarlet Lime kit).
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a great Monday!

My love with Making Memories continues.....
Hello Friday!
Let me show the card I made yesterday using more Making Memories paper. First, I can't stop using paper from October Afternoon or Cosmo Cricket but now I can't seem to get my hands off Making Memories paper. Am I weird or what...lol.
The first few supplies that I bought when I started this hobby is Prima flowers. I don't know why but back then I love to shop for Prima flowers. I have lots of Prima flowers but gave some of them away now that I seldom put flowers on my cards. I thought this is a very girlie girl card with all the flowers and pearls....what do you think?
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

In love with Making Memories again...
Happy Thursday!
Four months has passed and it's time for hubby to go onboard again. This time he'll be away for two months and I just sent him off this morning at the pier. Since he's not around, I'm going back to my mom's house and stay for a couple of days. I've been missing her badly.
Since my love affair with October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket started, I have not really look into my Making Memories stash. They have been neglected so badly that I make it a point to use them for my next card. And here it is....

Everything here is from Making Memories except for the Papertrey Ink buttons and Unity Stamps. These beautiful paper were given to me by my talented buddy, Jessy. Those butterflies are punched out using the Martha Stewart punch, then I adhered them to the card with zigzag stitch....can you see it?
That's all I have for today. Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your day!

MFW Challenge : Diggin' Doilies and Lace
Thanks everyone for your comments on my cards featuring the Look Up stamps! You all are the best! Today I would like to share a card I made for the Diggin' Doilies and Lace Challenge by Moxie Fab World. If you know my style, you'll know that I don't use doilies on my card except for the occasional time where I want to create something totally different from my style like shabby chic card. So I would say that this challenge is really a 'challenge' for me as I step out of my comfort zone again.
As I said, doilies on card is not my style so I had to go out and buy me some doilies paper last weekend. I'm not sure if really like the color but I left with no choice as the selection of colors are limited. But one thing I like about the paper is the distressed look. Cath mentioned that the key element of this challenge is color contrast, hence the turqoise cardstock as the base. The butterflies were punched out from doilies using my Martha Stewart punch. The chipboard sticker from GCD Studio goes perfectly well with my punched out butterflies. Oh btw, the doilies paper is by Basic Grey.
Have a fun day!!

Look Up! Day Two
Happy Saturday ladies! Welcome to Look up! day two. I'm having so much fun working with this stamp set and I have one more card to share with you today. I use the simple and fun approach when I created this card so you can see I keep everything to minimal. The banner, sentiment and the hot air ballon is from Look Up! The clouds and sun die cut is from October Afternoon. Did you notice that the gridlines of the hot air ballon does not shown in this card? Well, it's because I stamped on the Sassafrass paper, cut and flip it the other side to reveal only the pattern of the paper. See the versatality of these stamps? You can paper piece it, color it or even double it as a template. It's that fun! See that shiny opague effect on the banner? I applied some glossy accent for the added dimension. Love it!
Do check out Practicing Creativity Designs and happy shopping!

Look Up! Day 1
Hello my lovely friends!
Courtney from Practicing Creativity Designs is releasing her newest stamp set called Look Up! tomorrow and I was brimming with excitement when she asked me to be part of her stamp release. I jumped at the opportunity right away! Let me share with you a couple of cards I created using this fun stamp.
There are 16 stamps in this set and what I love most is the large hot air ballon. For this card, I stamped the large hot air ballon on a white cardstock, colored the image with my blender pen and cut out. Then, I stamped the medium and small hot air ballons on the tag. I'm not sure if you can see it clearly but I lightly swiped blue and pink ink on the tag to create a natural sky background. I always love creating a scene like card so this stamp is just perfect for me.
For my next hot air ballon card, I paper pieced it with Cosmo Cricket paper and pop it up with dimensional foam.
This stamp set will be available for purchase tomorrow at Practicing Creativity Designs for only $12.99 These stamps are made in the US with high-quality photopolymer. Besides stamp, Practicing Creativity Designs is also carrying some beautiful ribbons by May Arts. Please be sure to check out Courtney's blog for more inspiration and see what her other friends created with the stamp.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back again as I share more cards featuring Look Up!

Just be yourself.........
Hello there! I am happy to say that my back is getting better now (touch wood though). I have been feeling sick and weak since the start of 2010 and it feels great to be healthy again. I am heading to road of recovery :) Thanks for your well wishes. It's a comfort feeling knowing that there are people out there who actually care for you. THANK YOU!
Hmm..now what would a girl do when she's recovering from back pain?? Any guess? Lol....how could I sit and watch TV when my craft supplies are calling out for me. Yep...I created a card yesterday.

I am using paper and chipboard sticker from GCD Studio. I love that sentiment a lot. Don't you love it too? The rhinestone button is by Jenni Bowlin. Lace and doily from my craft supplies.
If you notice, this isn't really my style but once in a while I love to step out of my comfort zone and explore other possibilities :) Have a great day!

Look Up! by Practicing Creativity Designs + Update
Hello ladies! It's been a week since I post anything here and it's getting dusty. So, I thought I would give you a little update on what I've been up to.
But before I start, I wanted to share with you that my uber talented and sweet friend, Courtney Baker is releasing her next stamp set on March 6. Do check out the card she created using her newest stamp set called Look Up! I'll have more info for you about this stamp set when the release date is approaching. Stay tuned!!
Ok, here's a little update. My back is acting up again and I am mentally and physically affected by this. I was worried sick and I lost my appetite too. Finally I went to see another doctor to seek for second opinion and I was glad that I did. I thought I would have to go through MRI but to my surprise I didn't have to. And it suprised me even more when the doc told me that my back pain is due to lack of exercise and cause my muscle to tighten up. The pain is caused by muscle spasm. I thought I hear it wrongly but that's exactly what he said. I didn't know that lack of exercise could cause so much pain to my back. All this while I thought I got injured or something like that but I was wrong. I have to go through a few session of physio before I can do any form of exercise. I went for my first session of physio yesterday and it was painful. I heard lots of cracks and snaps during the entire session. But I felt a lot better after that. If you are experiencing back pain like me, please remember that exercise will help you. Don't wait till it gets serious like me. Lesson learned :)
Although I did not post anything here but trust me I did create. I can't share them with you now but soon I will. Do come back again :) Have a great day!
